Cancellation and modifications Policy:

Exception: Due to current border closures no cancellation Fees Apply.

We are a small B&B. Every reservation made means we turn away other interested guests. All our bookings are made by prior arrangements often many months in advance. Due to this and our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly. Consequently we must adhere to a strict cancellation policy which is as follows :

• Cancellations notified more than 30 days prior to arrival will be entitled to a full refund less a $50.00 administration fee.
• For cancellations of all or partial reservations received less than thirty (30) days prior to your arrival date, no refund will be issued and you will be charged for the entire reservation unless we are able to re-rent the room. This policy also pertains to early check-outs.

  We realize that life does happen and plans do change. We will make every effort to work with you.
• Failure to arrive (i.e. a no show) will be charged for full period booked.
• Travel insurance is recommended for all bookings to provide adequate protection against cancellation of travel beyond your control.
• Note 1: Your reservation is not guaranteed if your credit card expired, or if your credit card does not hold the required funds for your booking. (Even if you have paid a deposit). Please keep us updated if your credit-card-details have changed since you booked your room/s, thank you.

  Note 2: This cancellation policy applies to all bookings made directly with the proprietors and/or representative of Ascot Parnell by phone email or via the direct booking link on the Ascot Parnell proprietary website.

  Note 3: This cancellation policy does not apply to reservations made via Booking.com and the Expedia network and affiliated booking sites. These external booking sites apply different deposit requirements, some being fully prepaid, while applying different cancellation policies proprietary to these booking sites.

  Note 4: Special Events Cancellation Policy - Major Concerts and International Sports events : Deposits paid are non-refundable if you cancel or amend part or entire stay. Sixty (60) days notice is required to avoid 100 % charge of entire booking.

  Note 5: Tripadvisor and Google do not refund us their booking fees even though you might have canceled, we are therefore obliged to on-charge their booking fee - Which they call commission at 10% of the value of your booking.
